The most common mistake: starting late
What we see most is a bride booking a fortnight before the wedding and asking for "everything". The difficulty is that most effective procedures need time to show their result, and some need recovery that does not fit a week before the event.
This schedule is what we actually apply with our clients, and it starts at six months — which is the ideal window, not the minimum.
Six months out: foundations
- A full assessment and a complete plan with its budget.
- Starting laser hair removal (6–8 sessions, a month apart).
- Any surgical procedure, such as labiaplasty, so there is ample time for complete recovery.
- Beginning treatment for any recurrent irritation or bumps.
Three to four months out: core treatments
- Starting the lightening protocol (3–6 sessions, two to three weeks apart).
- Smart threads if they are part of the plan — they need six weeks for the full result.
- Collagen stimulation sessions.
- Starting a pelvic floor exercise programme.
One to two months out: finishing touches
- Filler — it settles over two weeks, so one month out is the latest appropriate date.
- The final golden plasma session.
- A final lightening session at least three weeks before the wedding.
- A full review appointment with the doctor.
The last fortnight: what to avoid
This period is for consolidating, not experimenting. Avoid entirely:
- Any new procedure you have not had before.
- Exfoliating or razor shaving within two days of an appointment.
- New skincare products — this is not the time to discover a sensitivity.
- Sudden crash diets.
- Heavy late nights in the final three days.
What is allowed: daily moisturising, enough water, regular sleep, and a relaxation session if you can.
A note on budget
Spreading preparation across six months does not only improve the result — it distributes the cost naturally. And with Tabby and Tamara instalments, the full plan becomes far easier than a single payment in the final month.
