What Happens at Your First Appointment

Why write this at all?

Because what most delays women from booking is not cost or time, but not knowing what will happen. Anxiety about the unknown is real, and transparency resolves it.

Here is what actually happens at your first appointment, step by step.

Before the appointment

Appointments are scheduled so that clients do not overlap in reception wherever possible. You will receive a WhatsApp confirmation with the time and location, naming no service — only a confirmed appointment.

No special preparation is needed. If you take regular medication, photograph the packet or bring a list of names.

The appointment itself: 45 minutes

1. Conversation first (15–20 minutes): a discussion with the doctor in her office, in your ordinary clothes. You explain what troubles you, when it began, and what you have tried.
2. Medical history: deliveries, previous surgery, medications and allergies.
3. Clinical examination (5–10 minutes): calm and respectful, and it does not begin until you are ready. You can ask to stop at any moment.
4. Explanation and options (10 minutes): we describe what we found in plain language, then present two or three options with their genuine differences in result, recovery and cost.
5. The decision: not necessarily made the same day. Take your time.

The questions you'll be asked

• What specifically troubles you, and since when?
• How many deliveries, and were they vaginal or caesarean?
• Is there pain, and exactly when does it occur?
• What have you tried before, and what was the result?
• What are you hoping to achieve?

The last question matters most. Your expectations are part of the plan, not a courtesy — and if they are unrealistic, we will say so clearly and kindly.

Privacy in practice

• Your medical file is closed and shared with no one.
• Photographs — if taken — remain in the medical file only, and are never used for any promotional purpose.
• Your name is not used in any external communication.
• WhatsApp messages come from the clinic number and are neutrally worded.
• You have the right to decline any photography.

What if I don't decide anything?

That is entirely normal and expected. Many women come for assessment only and return months later, or not at all. There are no chasing calls and no pressure. The appointment is a medical consultation, not a commitment to buy.
